"Rent a Website” is a product purely meant for start-ups with low investing capital that prefer not to spend hundreds of dollars on a Fancy, Branded Online Identity. Under the program, Dot Solutions & Technologies sets up easy monthly rental payments for the Business and delivers the website in a time span of 2-4 weeks depending on the flow of content from the Business Owner.
In the following Terms & Conditions, the terms DotSol, Dot Solutions & Technologies and DotSol’s Representative refers to the company Dot Solutions & Technologies or one of our representatives. And the term Business, Business Owner, Client and Client’s Representative refers to the customer/client/business.
Terms & Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply:

The minimum duration can be decided mutually by a representative of DotSol and the Client’s Representative. In case no duration is set, a minimum duration of 3 years will be considered to completely pay-off the website.

After the initial 3 years, the client can opt for one of the three options:
•
Ask for a redesign of the whole website against a renewal of the Rent a Website subscription,
•
Keep the website on the DotSol Hosting and end the “Rent a Website” package/subscription,
•
Move the website to another provider/host after settling a residual value of the website
•
The Business will have ownership to all the content provided in form of text, graphs, images and videos however the ownership of design will be of DotSol’s
•
Client can forfeit from the “Rent a Website” package/subscription with 1 month’s notice to DotSol’s Representative in advance. The last open invoice has to be paid by the client.
•
DotSol is responsible for the Security, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of the website through the period of “Rent a Website” package/subscription. Our technical team will make sure the website is free from infections/malware.
Client Data/Contact Details:
The contact details and personal information collected at DotSol’s Website, Billing Portal or any other Digital/Offline channel by DotSol is not shared with any third party at all. The email/phone number can be used by Dot Solutions & Technologies for updates, offers and reminders. However, clients or their contact representative can opt out of the updates by unsubscribing on the website/billing portal.
Domain Ownership

The Domain will be bought from one of DotSol’s Domain Accounts with one of the leading Domain Selling companies around the world.

The Registrant and Technical details for each domain purchase will be DotSol’s Domain Manager’s while the Administration contact will be the Client’s.
•
All Domain Names will be Locked for outbound transfers as a security precaution unless mutually decided by the Client and DotSol to unlock it.
•
In case the client wants to move away to a different host/provider, the client can request a transfer of complete ownership; however, in case you’re concerned about your domain name, DotSol’s Domain Manager will take good care of your domain, manage renewals on time to avoid disconnection and remind you of all the important updates.
Client Forfeit
The following two options are available in case of forfeit:

Hold: The client can hold the “Rent a Website” package/subscription. In case of Hold, DotSol will replace the Landing page of the Website with a Parking Page. The original content of the website will not be touched/replaced; only the Homepage/Landing Page will be replaced with a Parking page. This way, the website will stay intact and everything but the Homepage will be unaffected in the Search Engine Ranked Pages (SERP). The client will be charged 25% of the rental amount each month as “Holding Fee”. Access to email accounts will be unaffected.
•
Drop: The client can drop the “Rent a Website” package/subscription. In case of Drop, DotSol will replace the landing page of the Website with a Parking Page. The original content of the website will be backed up and removed from the server. All the Search Engine Ranked Pages (SERP) will be removed. Access to email accounts will be suspended.
•
There should be no open invoices at the time of requesting a Drop. In case of open invoices, you are required to pay the due amount before requesting a Drop of services; the website will stay active until the renewal date and will automatically be closed. Failure to pay outstanding invoices will lead to generation of 2 more invoices and closure of services.
Quality of Services
Under the “Rent a Website”, Technical Team at DotSol will be responsible for:

Website development, content population and configuration of domain name, hosting and CloudFlare.
•
Regular maintenance checkups of both the website and server; update of OS, CMS, Frameworks, Programming Language Frameworks and any other themes/plugins used in the development of the website,
•
Firewall and Security Configurations/Plugins for management of logins and access logs to make the website secure,
•
99.99% Guaranteed Website Uptime.
